A complimentary consultation is required prior to having laser hair removal. Our laser hair technician will tell you how many treatments to expect, the cost of each treatment as well as “do’s and don’ts” while undergoing treatments. The Alexandrite laser we use is FDA approved for permanent reduction, and can be used on most any part of the body.

We use a soy based product that is antibacterial and less sensitizing than typical wax. Please be sure to discontinue all vitamin a derived products (i.e. Retin a, Renova, retinol, Tazorac, MediSpa Differin, Avage, etc.) 7 days prior to waxing. We are unable to wax sunburned skin. FAQ’s About Bikini Waxing

This is so embarrassing. What should I expect?
First of all, relax. Our technicians have seen everything (literally.) They will talk you through the entire process, which is generally quicker and less painful than you might think. You will be offered a pair of disposable underwear you can wear, and, as one of our estheticians likes to say, “we are going to be really good friends by the time this is over!” Then, hop up on the table and let them get to work. You will be fuzz free in no time. Expect your skin to be pink for a few hours afterwards, and then you should be good to go.

Does it hurt?
Well, as previously mentioned, it isn’t as fun as a massage, but not nearly as uncomfortable as you might imagine. We have a variety of techniques we can use to minimize the “ouch,” not the least of which is working quickly to get you on your merry way in no time.

How long does it last?
You may notice regrowth a couple of weeks after your first wax. After 3 treatments (each a month apart,) you will likely discover that you will need to wax less frequently. Some gals find that they have to maintain monthly sessions, others can space it out even longer. Anything else I should know? We strongly suggest having a “trial run” before a big event or a beach vacation. Don’t come in 2 days before your wedding for your first bikini wax. Make an appointment a couple of months prior, just to avoid any surprises before the “big day.” Avoid using any harsh scrubs the day before or after your service. Irritated skin takes longer to heal.
